Our Story
Omahu Road Deli grew from an idea to create delicious plant-based protein options for all. We wanted our products to appeal not only to those who already enjoy a plant-based diet but also those that may be transitioning, or just want to reduce their meat consumption.
We began experimenting with recipes back in 2019 and once we were happy with the flavours, texture and quality, began selling our range at local farmers’ markets here in Auckland from early 2021. Our product range is also available for Pick-Up orders from our premises here in Auckland.

In June 2021, after just a few months selling our range at local farmers’ markets, Omahu Road Deli was honoured to be awarded ‘runner up’ for the Chorizo category in the New Zealand Vegan Sausage Awards.
